Product Review: Swiffer Wetjet

Having recently moved from a carpeted house to one with all wood and tile floors, we have been fervently searching for the best way to keep the floors clean.  This evening we purchased the Swiffer Wetjet.  I sweep the floors at least once a day with a broom, but was astounded how much dirt the wetjet picked up!

Don’t judge me, I promise I didn’t know how dirty it was!!! So far we like the wetjet.  It’s a little more expensive since you have to use the replacement pads.  It took 3 pads to clean our place.  But I feel that it’s more sanitary than using a mop or sponge.

If you’re a hardwood or tile home dweller and have something you’re using that works better, let me know!

  1. i went through the same dilemma but b/c our floors were dull. tried the wet jet and loved the convenience, but found it expensive and it ended up making the floors duller. i still can’t find anything better than hands/knees/rag/vinegar water… my SIL likes murphy’s oil stuff for her wood floors… good luck 🙂

  2. We use a micro fiber mop. just use warm water and when your done you just toss it in the washer 🙂

  3. we use the wet jet in our kitchen and its worth the price for me!!
